Jenny McKay

is a vocalist from Salt Lake City, UT. She currently works as a voice teacher and real estate appraiser while singing as much as she can in her community. Jennifer has appeared with Houston Masterworks Chorus in their performances of Handel’s Messiah and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. Miss McKay portrayed the role of Ciesca in Rice University’s most recent production of Gianni Schicchi. Other operatic performances Jennifer has sung include Mimi in Puccini’s La bohème at the Aspen Music Festival, Alice Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff as part of the Utah Vocal Arts Academy, and Beatrice in Berlioz’ Béatrice et Bénédict at Brigham Young University where she completed her bachelor’s degree. In 2014, she made her Italian debut performing the role of Chocholka in Janáček’s A Cunning Little Vixen with the Trentino Music Festival. Jennifer is a graduate of the Masters program at Rice University.
