Welcome to NHCO

In behalf of Nebo Holiday Chorus & Orchestra, I would like to welcome you to this year’s "Messiah" project. We are so appreciative of your willingness to dedicate your precious time and talents in order to benefit our community and those experiencing hardships and sorrow. We hope that you will enjoy this musical journey with us and support us through the coming years. Our organization is hopeful that we can establish this production as an annual tradition in our local community. Please don’t hesitate to ask us questions at contact@nhco.events

Audition Selections

Please download the appropriate selection below for your audition. If a selection isn't given for your instrument, please feel free to use a selection of your choice.

Please sign up for a time slot below. Orchestra slots are one person every 10 minutes. Choir slots are 20 people every half hour.

Membership Fee

In order to assist our artistic crew, pay for rental fees, equipment etc., we are asking our NHCO participants to support us by paying a $25.00 membership fee. Contracted musicians are exempt from this fee. We accept checks made out to NHCO or payments via PayPal or Venmo. Thanks.

Choir Dress Code

Women

Black long sleeve top without embroidery or design elements.

Black long skirt or pants without embroidery or design elements.

No long earrings, flashy jewelry or necklace.

Hair down or in braid. 

Black flat shoes, black socks or tights, a black folder with music.

Men

Black long sleeve shirts without embroidery or design elements.
Black/dark long suit pants without embroidery or design elements.
No jewelry, black flat shoes, black socks, a black folder with music.

Orchestra Dress Code

All black without embroidery or design elements
No long earrings, flashy jewelry or necklace.

Hair down or in braid.

Men

Dark suit, white shirt & dark tie.
